Buckets Tavern & Tap in Tampa

My girlfriend and I love everything about Buckets. The atmosphere is comfortable. The music is never overwhelmingly loud and we can be ourselves. The prices are also much better than the surrounding bars. We've only been twice, but we plan on many more visits very soon.

Great place if you're a smoker and don't want people complaining. The bar tenders were extremely friendly and talking and joking with us.

Stopped in last night after the restaurant down the street didn't have any cooks to make our food 😩. Had to get the wings after reading reviews and so glad I did! These are my idea of what a perfect wing sauce should be, as soon as I smelled them I knew. 😍 It was a cool place, bartender and cook were on point, prices were great, and I will be back... Soon! 3 stars like someone else said "because they have reputation to uphold" 😂😂😂

Great little cash bar with food and arcade games - they have an atm too, so no sweat.

Great food, fair prices, cash only though. Tuesday nights is $3 burgers wings and chicken fingers.

The greatest buffalo wings in the tri state area. Lived in J-town for over 40 years and this place never changed. A neighborhood staple. Do it. Go.

A great local bar with low prices and friendly staff. The bar food is standard fare (wings and sandwiches) but done well, especially for a late night of drinking. There are many televisions and the bartenders are more than willing to switch out sports games if you ask. This is a smoking bar, so be warned that it will be smokey and your clothes will smell afterward if the bar is crowded, which it will be on just about any night of the week. The music can sometimes be a bit too loud, but again, the bartenders are open to requests and very accommodating. One of my favorite dives.

Amazing staff, great food (it's a bar, not a gourmet restaurant) and perfect to keep your belly full of food and drink. Best spot in jenkintown.

One of my favorite places to go in Jenkintown! Pretty good wings, and a nice selection of beer. This is a smoking bar so take that into consideration before you go.

Ehhhhhh. Like smoking bars? Dark rooms? Reading a novels worth of graffiti when you pop a squat? Then come right in, really. Wasn't my cup of tea, but if you're a thirsty smoker, its a nice place to to have a sit down

They used to be a great dive bar with good food. Now it is just a loud terrible place where you will regret coming to for any reason. I've been coming here for 13 years and what it had became is just a shame

It's fng buckets, or as I refer to it the penny gardens of jenkintown. Everyone ends up at buckets.

Was fun but the smell of smoke brings it down. I know it's a bar and all but would some kind of ventilation system really hurt? I don't think smell will ever come out of my clothes!

I wish it were smoke-free and we would go much more often

The windows are never open despite it being ground level and it's a smoking bar with minimal ventilation. You'll want to wash your clothes and shower when you get back. The beers are cheap, but I'm pretty sure you can get 2 dollar beers during happy hour at the Brewhouse nearby. I know people who love this bar, but it's definitely hard on the lungs.

Once again, a hit...... beers are cold and service is great. The juke box is giving out some great tunes and the patrons are enjoying themselves. The best place in Jenkintown for sure.

Did some work on the building, went down had lunch, great food, 3 days ,different every day, was good every day.

Classic example of a "dive bar." It's elegant atmosphere helps remind you why you chose to drink yourself into a stupor. The friendliness of the customers gives the feeling as if you were Cliff and you just stepped foot into a charming bar in Boston. After all everyone here likely knows your name. The reason for my vote of 3 stars is simple. Any higher of a score would ruin this classic dives reputation. Any lower would just be inaccurate. So next time you are tired of life and that waitress at the Drake blowing you off, give Buckets a chance. It's not like life's going to get any better for you at this point.
